Choir Auditions for 2026-2027

WELCOME TO BVNW CHOIR AUDITIONS

There is a choir for ALL voices at BVNW.  No one is cut from the program.  This audition process simply puts you in the ensemble that matches your vocal technique and musical literacy. 

Auditions for next school year's choirs will be April 8th-10th. Please sign up for a short 6 minute audition. 

Here's what you need to prepare for that audition:

• * 30 seconds of your very best singing that shows off your voice, acapella, any style
• *Be ready to sing Scales with Mrs. Richey to see your vocal range (it's ok if you've never done this)
• *Be ready to Sight Sing some music.  (it's ok if you've never done this)
• *Pitch Memory.  Mrs. Richey will play a series of notes, and you will sing them back. (still ok! :))
• If you're wanting to be considered for Chamber Singers, you will need to learn this excerpt.  Click this link for the excerpt and rehearsal tracks. *** If you’re auditioning for Chamber Singers, you do NOT need to prepare the 30 seconds of singing.
